Netherland Dwarf

The Netherland Dwarf is a small, compactly built rabbit. Its distinctive features include a short, broad body, a smoothly arched topline, a rounded head, a short muzzle, and short, upright ears. The coat is dense and even.

Colors and Varieties
The Netherland Dwarf is recognized in many colors and patterns, as well as several coat types according to the official standard. White is accepted in both red-eyed and blue-eyed varieties.

Temperament and Care
The Netherland Dwarf is lively and curious. It adapts well to human companionship when handled calmly and consistently. Due to its small size, it requires careful handling, an enriched environment, and daily exercise – just like all rabbits.

Some Netherland Dwarfs may have a bit of a self-important attitude (read: big ego), but most are very social and enjoy their owner’s company. In our breeding program, we also pay close attention to temperament, which plays a significant role in breeding decisions.
